Glad you guys had fun!
In case you're curious, the short films we watched, including "Let's Make a Sandwich", "You're Growing Up", and "As Others See Us," were from a DVD called How to Be a Woman: Classic Educational Shorts Volume 2. There's a lot of entertaining stuff there :)
And you know, every time I watch The Giant Claw, I honestly forget how many times the word "battleship" is used in the description of just how big the creature is. It makes me want to go back in time to find the writers of this film and hit them repeatedly with a thesaurus.
Oh, and here's one of my favorite reviews of The Giant Claw. Oh, wait a minute ... I love this one, too!
Heh!
I particularly like this quote from the badmovies.org review:
"If that did not get your attention, how about this: any movie bold enough to feature a GIANT ANTIMATTER SPACE BUZZARD is a movie worth watching.
Go ahead and try to contradict me. Tell me that, somewhere in the back of your mind, the idea of seeing a real, live GIANT ANTIMATTER SPACE BUZZARD fails to cause a pleasant tingle. For me, it feels like somebody is massaging my hippocampus while wearing a joy buzzer. I giggle hysterically. If the tickling goes on too long I might become a vegetable, lose control of my bowels, or both (while still consumed by hysterical giggling).
I am careful not to watch "The Giant Claw" too often."

"What? Too much?"
Not the worst...
Andrea has made us watch. That would be The Pirate Movie starring Kristy McNichol. God that was awful. And I've seen worse cheesy "special effects."
Cool
You know, it's nice to know that after all these years, you guys managed to remain friends. I guess that's why the podcast is working so well for you. I'll be curious to hear what Orenthal, Judy, and Keith thought of the movie.
