Second Season Premiere
The show has gotten off to an exciting start what with the group being divided. Some sacrifices were made to stabilize the group and some were pretty ugly. I'm really starting to get into this show now and it's a shame because once again, when I show an interest in a program, it gets cancelled. I don't know if there was a season three, but I saw a note on one of the news boards that the BBC has cancelled the series. Hopefully, they were able to wrap up plot threads with what they had.

First Season Watched
And while I like the ideas presented, and this is going to be ironic, I feel that there wasn't enough episode time to feel them out. Primarily, this season dealt with the survivors gathering together and learning about each other while they dealt with the threat of a reforming government that really didn't have its act together. And here lies the problem. This group of survivors, for the most part, are as passive as the original 70s series survivors. They go out of their way to avoid conflict, which makes sense in a post apocalyptic world when you're trying to determine good guy from bad guy. The problem is this lessens the drama. Also, in trying to avoid trouble, they are avoiding the problem of this government, which we're not getting to see enough of, and how they deal with creating a new society.
From what I understand, the second season shifts away from the government situation to a research facility that is trying to find a cure for the plague that struck the world. This is a shame as it seems to be veering more towards a somewhat science fiction slant, something that didn't work when they tried it in the original series.

70's
This seems more interesting that the 80’s show like the Eight isn’t Enough where Adam Rich has started as a child star.
