Here is the link once again for Luke's novel on the Kindle. Hopefully, we'll be seeing it in dead tree format here in the states. Make sure you rate the episode.

Luke Romyn & THE DARK PATH- The Koala Speaks!
I have decided to jump in here as a defender of the Koala & of Luke Romyn. I read Luke's book on KINDLE and even though I'm not a huge fan of the dark fantasy genre, I posted this review on Amazon and on www.tomriddell.com:
Luke Romyn spins a tale of hell, heaven and all of the complexities of life which eventually can lead us to a destiny of our choosing. Taking the DARK PATH is a choice that sometimes leads us to a final battle with our own demons but ultimately a fate awaits which will reveal a path which can surprise and shock us.
Luke Romyn has created a story which will pull you in from the beginning and not let go until you've traveled his path of supernatural suspense- to the end.
I would like to add here that Luke is far from the docile and uninteresting personality that the Koala sometimes exhibits. One only has to go his Twitter tweets to get an eye full of what this very entertaining and interesting mind comes up with.
Authors and publishers of all sorts need a platform to launch off from and having Mr. Romyn on my bookshelf is a testament to, what I feel, is a promising up and coming author.
The Koala generally is a silent animal, but males have a very loud advertising call that can be heard from almost a kilometre away during the breeding season. Luke is making his advertising call now:
READ: THE DARK PATH and then come back and post a review.
Except
He's not on your bookshelf, he's in your Kindle. A device that couldn't access MacMillan books for awhile. A device that can pull books off without a notice if Amazon so wishes.
As for the "koala" comment, I'm sorry, that was borne out of my disappointment at the Rift more than anything else. I'm sure as a new "author" Luke needs to work on his interview skills.
I will read The Dark Path and post a review though.
KINDNESS TO LUKE, KINDLE & KOALA
There's a whole world of complexities out there when trying to size up or critique anything, whether it be a writer, a book or a reading device. It can be a lot like trying to navigate a political landscape. We sometimes can get so snarled up on the negative that we forget or outwardly avoid the positives of a certain item.
As for the KINDLE, like anything else, there are the glitches and things not to like, but if you would take time, (As you said you would do in reading THE DARK PATH) look at the reviews for the KINDLE. I can say without a doubt (And I was very skeptical of the device at first) that it's one of the best things I have ever bought- and I mean that. If you like to read....it's an amazing invention.
I used "book shelf" as a metaphor for my "ownership" of Luke Romyn's book. It's a book that I would love to have in hard copy and I plan on having it tucked away on my bookshelf in the very near future.
I would also implore you to find Luke on Twitter. The man's mind is VERY INTERESTING and "pee your pants" funny. If you are inclined to humor, I will guarantee you that you will come away with a deep appreciation for the divirsity of this man's mind.
Happy reading...
Yowch!
Was this a mistep. Let me tell you, this guy has the personality of a koala. And what's worse, you interviewed someone who went the direct to ebook route through some no name publisher. Was the book edited? I mean, he makes Keith look legitimate.
Sorry, but this episode does not go up there in the anals of Chronic Rift greats. At least the next episode offers redemption with Arne Starr.
