Season Three
Is anyone watching this show? I ask as I continue to mostly because my wife enjoys it. They are finally getting around to moving the show towards the mythos of Merlin, Arthur, and Morgana in their respective roles in the legend as we know it, but I find despite this that I simply don't care.
The most recent episode I watched featured an small screen version of a battle akin to that in Lord of the Rings. It was well executed, but I still found myself not paying much attention. I think they waited too long to ramp things up to the point where I don't care.
Opinions? Thoughts?

"What? Too much?"
Actually,
I totally forgot about Merlin after the first season. I guess it didn't leave enough of an impression on me to remember that there was a Season 2. I think I liked Seaon 1, but I guess I didn't care enough about it. Does SyFy carry it?
Season Two
Finally starting to weed some of the programs off my DVR and that includes the second season of Merlin. Watched the first episode last night and it definitely is trying to be a darker show. Not only that though, but they are trying to incorporate the magic as something more than just a remedy for ills or for doing cute tricks. In fact, in watching this first episode, I couldn't help but wonder if they were going more for a Harry Potter feel here. We shall see.
I have five more episodes to watch in order to catch up. It's airing on Friday nights on Syfy.
