I lifted this listing from the Better in the Dark board, a really cool place to hang out. (Not as cool as here, mind you, but very cool.)

The Films of Tod Browning on Monday evenings (2 films for 1 admission)

Freaks and The Unholy Three (the silent version)

The Devil Doll and Where East is East

The Unknown and Fast Workers

West of Zanzibar and Mark of the Vampire

Dracula and The Black Bird

Maybe we could plan for a Rift viewing for one of these?  I'm up for Alien, Rashomon, Dracula/The Black Bird, and Fraks/The Unholy Three

One word of warning

I have no trouble with any of those films EXCEPT for Freaks.  I saw that film exactly once, and I had such terrifying nightmares after it that I still remember them to this day.  So, while I have to admit that Freaks was a great film, I am never going to see it again ever ever ever.

I'm with you on that one, Andrea.  Like you I have seen FREAKS one time and one time only and never intend to see it again.  I couldn't sleep right for two nights after I saw it.  The only other movie that has ever affected me that way was Darren Aronfsky's REQUIEM FOR A DREAM, another movie that I've only seen once and never intend to see again.
