For the new audience, how about doing a 30 minute show capturing the history of The Rift - how the original show came to be. It would make an interesting reference "FAQ" and give the show a sense of history (paritcularly if you use audio from some of the awesome guests you've had over the years). I wouldn't go 60 minutes or open it up to free discussion, but maybe a few interviews and anedotes sprinkled into a general chronology would make a good show.
That's a Good Idea
We could also post the God-awful 75th episode of the TV show alongside it in which the staff talked about the making of the show and we gave a little history on it. Everyone else was taped in Keith's brightly lit apartment while I taped my segment in a corner of my apartment with dim lights. I looked like a Taliban hostage reading off a cue card.
