Batman News ... from the Sun (So Disregard in its Entirety)

If you can believe it, the Sun Herald is reporting that Christian Bale is out as Batman, and Sam Worthington is in.

Of course, if the Sun Herald told me that the sky was blue, I would go outside and look up just to make sure.

The link goes to a story that reports on another story that says this:

"Industry gossip now suggests the rising Australian star could score
the part of Batman in the third instalment of the successful prequel
franchise.

That could mean replacing Bale, his Terminator co-star and The Dark KnightTerminator set, which recently hit the internet."

"Industry gossip now suggests..." Yeah.  Some Production Assistant at a Starbucks near the set production office overhears a casting director talking about something she heard from a publicist and shares it with a reporter friend at a nightclub to impress his date. 

"That could mean..." according to who? 

If Bale can survive accusations of beating on his own mother and sister at the opening of his film, he can certainly live down bitching out a member of the crew on one of his movies.

It gets me that some websites

It gets me that some websites and publications report on stories that are so obviously fake.  And they do it just to generate buzz and get people to go to their website, read their magazine, etc.

I hate Hollywood gossip.  I could really care less who's sleeping with who, what stars are pissed at other stars, which directors have an infatuation with yogurt.  I DON'T CARE!

GAH!
