UNDEAD - An Australian outbreak with a unique twist on the genre.

FIDO -Imagine a world where the living dead are controlled and even kept as servants.

DEAD ALIVE -Peter Jackson's disgusting and hilarious horrorshow.

RE-ANIMATOR - Lovecraft's story turned into a campy cult classic.

EVIL DEAD/EVIL DEAD 2 - They'll swallow your soul!  Yes, Army of Darkness is awesome, but it is less a zombie movie than the others.

FLIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD - Okay, it's direct to DVD crap, but I LOVE the idea of an outbreak on a 747.  Think Snakes On A Plane meets Air Force One meets NOTLD.

...and the GREAT, WONDERFUL AND MARVELOUS SHAUN OF THE DEAD.

I AM LEGEND - by Richard Matheson  Yes, I know they are vampires.  But this is THE classic stuck in the house while the world moves on story that is the template for the contemporary zombies story.  Also, it will help you forget the Will Smith movie.

~GAMES~

RESIDENT EVIL (series)- 'natch.

DEAD RISING - Trapped in a mall with 50,000 zombies, raving psychotics and a dwindling number of survivors.  You can use anything in the mall to defend and destroy the undead.  The object is to stay alive, get the story and get out when your helicopter arrives in 72 hours.  Good luck.

LEFT 4 DEAD - Play the eaters or the eaten in a fight to survive.
