Geek Radio Daily ... No Longer Daily!
At the end of the GRDsweekly episode 100 - Back and Forth, the staff talk about the history, present, and future of their podcast. And the future is that they're no longer going to be updating on a daily basis. As a fellow podcaster, I have to say that it's AMAZING that they've been able to update a daily podcast as long as they have. Anyway, they're going to be moving to a format of weekly shows instead of daily shows from now on.
Sad Really
I haven't listened to the episode yet, but I saw on their boards about the cutting back. It's a shame, but like Andrea says, it was amazing that they were able to perform such a feat for as long as they did.
Granted, I do get the wild urge to produce something similar once in a while. I'd call it The Chronic Rift - Pop Tops and offer five or six news items of the day with commentary from whomever of the crew was crazy enough to indulge me.
