Guitar Hero World Tour

David Finnerty's picture

I just got this game.  Midnight on Saturday or early Sunday morning depending on how you look at it.

It has the Guitar, Drums, and Microphone.

You get to play as a band or solo, and let me tell you it is fun and challanging.

Drums are sturdy and come with real sticks.  You can hit real hard.

Guitar looks great and has a slide bar added (Not sure what to use it for)

The Mic is wired (Down side) but feels good in the hand and is really sensitive.

They also have a studiou where you can go and just play the instruments and record your music.  Very cool.  You can change drum kits, and guitars to get the sound you want.  Big bonus in this game.

Have a good day

I give it a 5 out of 5, but it is a pricey game, $200 is not something I normally spend.  But my wife and daughter both play and now we can play together.  Though they don't like me playing because I drag them down.   Yeah I suck. (No time to practice.)

Have a good one.

I Got to Play it

I was at my sister's this weekend and they have it for the XBox.  It is a lot of fun.  I think I got Sue thinking about it too as I played drums on Ozzy's "Crazy Train."  I love the create your own song feature.  You can't place vocals on it, but that's all right.  Definitely going on the "want" list.

Checked Out the Website

I like the list of songs they offer.  There's quite a variety.  I also like the fact that you can create and record your own songs.  That might be fun.

So...

This is Wii's answer to Rock Star for the 360, right?  $200 bucks.  Well, maybe when I get my pay for the clubs and activities I moderate.  It would be fun to play something with the family.  That's why I like the Wii though.  Even Mikey, at two years old, bowls and golfs with me.
