Hope this helps. If you have trouble finding the conversion book for AD&D to 3.0, I think I still may have it. Just let me know if you need it.

I'll look into it, but the only conversion I know of would convert from 3E to AD&D 2nd edition. The only way I know how to do that is to use the 3E conversion manual that WotC put out when they launched 3E nine years ago. Using that book, you could work in reverse to make something 3E into AD&D 2E, theoretically.
I know a guy who works on the Osric System, which is the 1E rules set. He may have some insights. I'll ask him.

I'm pushing this thread to the top in the hopes that new members of the board might be able to help. I was wondering if there is anone out here who knows how to convert 3rd edition characters to 1st edition.
