Hatchet II
Just got an email saying that Hatchet II will be released unrated on October 1. I can't find a reason for this, but it marks the first time in 25 years that a wide release film is going out unrated.

Early Start
Part one hasn't been released yet (check it out tomorrow), but I thought I should point out that one of the movies we discussed, Night of the Demons, that comingsoon.net claims is coming out at the end of October, is already available on DVD. It stars Shannon Elizabeth and Edward Furlong. I placed a link to the DVD in our Amazon store if you're interested in getting a copy. Anyway, I think it's safe to say disregard what I was saying in the episode about it coming to theaters, unless it's getting a limited release in addition to the DVD release. Amazon has the release for mid October while comingsoon.net says the release is at the end of the month.
